At present, I have nearly 1500 desktop wallpapers on my computer (yes, I am quite addicted to wallpaper), most of which have come from a variety of sites and most of which are either characters from the DC Comics universe or are from a scifi/fantasy tv series (live action and animated) or movie. There are a handful I have made myself mostly from scans I have done myself and others from saved scans from scans_daily or posting of cover images on a comics sites. I will only be including those here, as I do have wallpapers I've created from other artwork but which I don't think is proper to post since the artwork was not published in a comic.
These wallpapers are free for the taking for personal use. *Please save on your own computer!* If you'd like permission to include them in a collection, all I ask is that you ask first. I have very little skill in making wallpapers, so these are fairly basic, just cropping, some cloning to get rid of text bubbles, and voila. (And I as of yet have not quite figured out how to make my scanner scan at a higher resolution...if it does at all...)
All wallpapers are 1024 x 768.
